Splice Technologies' "Flame Retardant" series fusion splice protection sleeves are designed for use in environments requiring an upgraded flammability rating meeting UL and CSA VW-1 requirements. Our Standard & Slim series are available in 40 & 60mm lengths with after shrink diameters of 2.9mm & 2.5mm respectively, and will accommodate fiber diameters up to 1.4mm. Our Mini & Micro series are available in 25 & 40mm lengths with after shrink diameters of 2.0mm & 1.5mm respectively, and will accommodate fiber diameters of 900um & 450um respectively. These product are constructed with an inner meltable adhesive tube, stainless steel strength member and a black polyolefin heat shrink outer tube. The entire assembly is heat bonded to ensure that all members maintain perfect alignment during shipping, handling and shrinking.
